Zhmen`ko Zoya Vladimir

I’ve started my beadwork at the beginning of 80s. Very first work was based on scheme from one magazine. Practically all following works are authoring. I have an author’s right certificate for all beadwork I do by myself.
I learned from mainly from my mom, Sushkova Diya Sergiivna how to embroider using beads (you can see her work here as well).

She always uses own drawings in her work. She is a teacher of embroidering at the kids’ art club and teaches them how to do beadwork; designs and sketches different patterns easy for children in their work.
Zoya plans to write a manual on beadwork but unfortunately it is difficult to do it now without financial support for preparation and publication.

She uses her own work as examples of embroidery because it is not enough of printed material for studying and practice that can be both beautiful and easy for children.
Zhmen’ko Zoya knits a bit and can “rhyme” her thoughts about bad weather.
